Shari Hildred – Secretary
Shari Hildred, PMP, founded Valmore Consulting Inc. in 2011, bringing over 20 years of expertise in management and project leadership across sectors. Focused on building human capacity, she trains non-profits in leadership, project management, and communication, teaching at the U of R. Shari’s achievements include awards in heritage and community service.
Bill Wells – Government Relations
With deep expertise in policy and government relations, Bill has championed sustainable frameworks like the Framework for Recreation in Canada and Parks for All, both endorsed by multiple government levels. A skilled alliance-builder, he has formed strategic partnerships with government, Indigenous groups, and NGOs, advancing impactful policies in recreation, conservation, and sustainable education across Canada.
Sokhna Ndiaye – Volunteer
Sokhna Ndiaye is finishing her PhD in Water Sciences and holds a MScs in Ecotoxicology and Oceanography Marine Biology and Ecology, and a BSc in Natural Sciences. Specializing in environmental pollution, she has managed ecotoxicology and marine ecology projects in Canada and France, focusing on pollutant impacts on aquatic systems. Sokhna brings expertise in molecular biology, environmental assessment, and regulatory affairs, excelling in data analysis and scientific communication in French and English
Lisa Vance: Digital Resource Coordinator
Lisa Vance has 10 years of experience with non-profits and informal education, focusing on sustainability and climate action. She facilitates workshops on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and values the role of education in global sustainable development. Lisa holds a Bachelor’s in Tourism Management, a Master’s in International Development, and a certificate in Adult and Community Education. She enjoys reading, board games, volunteering, and traveling.

Brayden Materi is an experienced professional dedicated to environmental and social sustainability. He excels in program delivery and process improvements, with a strong background in tourism and immigration programs. Passionate about engaging diverse communities, Brayden is committed to fostering sustainable practices and enhancing community well-being through innovative solutions. His expertise in Eco Tourism brings a unique perspective to his work.
Wanjing (Veronica) Luo: Newsletter Editor
Wanjing Luo is a Bachelor of Science graduate in Environmental Science from Queen’s University, with a focus on sustainability, hydrology, and GIS modeling. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Environmental Science at the University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC), where she is taking climate and regulations courses. Wanjing has coordinated impactful initiatives, such as Regina’s Sustainability Expo, which enhanced public engagement and promoted climate action. She has expertise in clean energy research, environmental impact assessments, and policy analysis. Through projects like the “Meatless Monday” proposal, Wanjing demonstrates her commitment to innovative solutions, community involvement, and advancing sustainability on both local and global scales.
Ima Niboro – Communications Volunteer
Ima Niboro possesses a rich background in media, government relations, and corporate governance. He has served as Senior Advisor on Media and Publicity back in Nigeria and is Managing Director/CEO of a major news agency. With extensive experience managing businesses, Ima excels in Communications and Media Relations. He is adept at navigating complex organizational communications and corporate information processing and analysis. Adrian Werner: Climate Reality Project
As the Regional Engagement Coordinator for the Prairie Region, Adrian serves as a liaison resource for the EnviroCollective Network. He holds a BSc in Geography from the University of Winnipeg and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Leadership at the University of Guelph. Adrian has experience running an urban farm, leading grassroots urban nature initiatives, researching sub-arctic vegetation change, and co-authoring Rooster Town: The History of an Urban Métis Community, 1901-1961.
