A Regina First event that brought together numerous groups, and the people behind them that are working towards a net zero city.
Together EnviroCollective, Council of Canadians, the Regina Energy Transition, Saskatchewan Council on International Cooperation with the support of the City of Regina hosted the first ever community gathering for sustainability-minded organizations.
The purpose of the event was to bring community groups together to create connections and share what we are doing to support sustainability in the community. The event included a networking session and was open to the public to share how everyone can make changes and help us reach net zero 2050.
The event was a success with 20 groups attending and 5 digitally.
